Named after our favorite place in Southhampton, Ontario, on the shore of Lake Huron, South Street Boatbuilders was founded in 2012 by designer Tim Richards. Our work represents contemporary Canadian design and draws inspiration from the shores of Lake Huron, other natural phenomena, utilitarian objects, clean geometric forms and flowing organic masses. We are committed to the finest craftsmanship, authenticity, high-quality materials, and responsible design.

TIM RICHARDS is an Ontario-based industrial designer and woodworker. He studied architecture and geography at the University of Toronto and received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from Ontario College of Art and Design.
