Historically, in Southampton the storm signal basket was a way of warning fishermen of inclement weather. Now, our Signal lamp can warm your room with ample light from the dacron shade, while providing direct task lighting from the felt shade. Assembled entirely by rope lashing, with no tools, glues, or hardware required, Signal is also height-adjustable from 6’ to 8’. It fits perfectly beside your coziest reading chair due to its T base. Signal is a lamp of minimal profile, with a touch of nautical charm. Whether you want task or room lighting, each lamp can be illuminated individually, or both together for extra light.

Details: Made to order from White Oak, Maple, White Ash or Black Walnut, with felt and dacron shades. Signal comes with one CFL bulb and one LED flood bulb. For energy efficiency and safety, only install the included bulbs or equivalent.
