Mary 8 is our smallest and lightest canoe, weighing in at only 11lbs. She's best suited as a solo playboat for paddling around at the beach, or exploring up rivers, and has a capacity of about 150lbs. This beautiful little boat is made with a douglas fir and white ash frame, and an aircraft dacron skin. Paddling the Mary 8 is great fun, as you are essentially pulling your own weight (plus 11lbs) across the water. Try it out on a wavy day at the beach, and when you're done just pick her right out of the water!
