Margaret 14 is our most versatile canoe, weighing in at about 40lbs. She can handle two adult paddlers and a day or two of supplies. Perfect paddling around the lake, exploring up rivers, and day-tripping, she has a capacity of about 450lbs, built to Platt Monfort's drawings. 

This beautiful mid-sized boat is made with a western red cedar, douglas fir and white ash frame, salvaged urban ash seats and thwart, and an aircraft dacron skin. Paddling and portaging a 14' canoe has never been easier as you effortlessly pull her across the water or over hills. Try it out on a wavy day at the beach, Margaret has excellent secondary stability, and when you're done just pick her right out of the water! Even self-rescue is easy with a craft this light, should you manage to capsize.
